Q: How long is the hose?

Is there a safety feature? could the water overheat or would it be safe? Is there a mechanism which prevents the water from getting too hot?

A: The hose is approx 67cm long.
The product instructions advise that the solar shower is capable of attain temperatures of 48 C - so it always best to test water before using and add cold water if required. John.

Q: Is it single use or multi-use? (how many times can it be refilled and used?)

Q: How many litres does it hold? How hot can it get?
A: It holds 20 litres, which according to the manufacturers will be suitable for up to 3 showers!
As to temperature this is entirely dependent on the climatic conditions so the documentation doesn't go further than saying that after 3 hours exposure to sunlight the water should be 'comfortable' for washing... John

Q: considering the summers we have here in Britain,I was just wondering -what if its not sunny? will it still heat up if you put it out in daylight?
A: The intensity of sunlight is a key factor in the performance of this product - the temperature will rise if well sited in light (e.g. avoiding shade and on a heat absorbent -dark coloured -surface) but results will be better on a sunny day.

Q: How do we fill the unit?

Can the hose be lengthened?

A: The unit is filled by a plugged opening at the top of the shower. Simply remove the plug, fill with water, and then re-plug the hole.

The hose is not designed to be lengthened, but this may be possible.
