Hi, I have had one of these for about a year now. It is in my bathroom on the windowsill during for three seasons a year it needs no winding to provide about 30 mins use a day in the mornings. Over the darkest months it needs to be wound about once a week. Being splash resistant it is ideal for this environment and as it doesn't need power its very convinient. If you forget to turn it off you can quickly get it working again with a few winds on the crank. The sound is acceptable rather than good and its not the loudest radio but this is understandable with a small speaker and a high efficiency design. It can just be heard over my shower but speach can be difficult to understand in this situation, music is fine. The addition of the torch is handy as it means if I ever need a torch I know were it is instantly and can be sure it will work even if it takes a few cranks if its flat. I think this is an excellent product. My only concerns would be how long the volume control switch will last as this tends to be a weak point on transistor radios but so far it has held up well being turned on and off almost every day for a year.
