Took a while to get used to the in-mouth feel, and initially found the corners of my mouth getting sore, because the bamboo wasn't as smooth as the plastic I'm used to. Fortunately I was able to change my technique to prevent this! I also found the handle slightly less comfortable to hold than my usual plastic Wisdom brush, but not a deal breaker. On the plus side, the bristles lasted well (3 months) and seemed to clean effectively.

First bamboo toothbrush I have tried. Takes a few days to get used to the texture but it fine after that. Lasts just as long as a plastic toothbrush too.

Strong bristles which I find cleans my teeth adequately. If you have sensitive gums I would recommend the softer brush but try gentle circular motion over teeth to get a good even clean. This is a more ethical brush to buy so I give it five stars from me.

Bristles are very tough on the medium toothbrush, causing a little bleeding and incomplete cleaning. I’d recommend trying the soft one first.

This is the first bamboo brush I've tried, and I'm pleasantly surprised. It does the job, and it's good to know that it can be composted (apart from the bristles) when the time comes. A definite plus is the very simple recyclable cardboard packaging. Will never buy a standard plastic toothbrush again.

I love this toothbrush, I tried other bamboo options but I find the feeling of the bamboo in my mouth quite uncomfortable.rnThis one is lighter but somehow both the handle and the bristles feel sturdier and does not have the umpleasant feeling of others.rnDefinitely going to buy again.
I wish they would make brushes with a plastic head, because I find the feeling of the dry bamboo in my mouth quite uncomfortable and the bristles are plastic anyway. You could then snap off the handle below the plastic head once you're done with the brush and compost the handle whilst throwing out the head.

This is an efficient toothbrush that is nice to use, infinitely preferable to plastic ones and better value than other eco friendly ones.. My only slight disappointment is that the bristles can have a tendency work loose and come out after a while. Maybe I am overly aggressive with my brushing!

I love this toothbrush. The bristles are just the right amount of firmness. The bamboo handle is light, and it is pleasant to use. You will have to cut the bristles before putting in compost bin though...

This toothbrush is decent, but the handle feels a bit thin to me (compared to other bamboo toothbrushes). This is good in that it uses less bamboo, but I'm worried it might break.

God toothbrush, lasts well. Needs to be kept somewhere where it can dry out otherwise the wood goes a bit manky. I used to keep mine in a toothbrush holder/pot but now have to leave it out on the side. This slight inconvenience is worth it to reduce the amount of plastic going into landfill!

Great brush, the only thing is that it has a little bit of a funny smell, not offensive but I don't really like it. To reduce it I used coconut oil on mine so it is more 'water resistant'? not sure of that is the procedure but worked for mine. It looks nice, stays clean, brushes well.

I'm so pleased not to have a plastic toothbrush anymore! I got medium and the bristles seem pretty firm. The head of the brush is a bit broader than I'm used to, which makes my back teeth more of a struggle, but apart from that, I have no qualms about recommending it!

The handle is comfortable and I love the fact that it's not plastic. Only comment I would make is that it is labelled as medium but the bristles feel slightly soft to me so I'd like the option of buying the hard version.

This is cool for if you're always looking for other ways to reduce your impact in the environment. I think the price is good, around *** I think it was. I used to spend more than that on plastic heads for my electric toothbrush. My teeth always feel just as clean as when I use the electric brush.

This is a great product. The quality of the bristles are as good as a regular plastic toothbrush, in fact it took longer for the bristles to bend than regular ones. Once I was done with it I used a clamp and some pliers to snap off the head for landfill and the handle went into the green waste.

Thanks for the query. Environmental Toothbrush uses a BPA-free plastic polymer for the bristles that's 100% recyclable, although not biodegradable.
