A bit thin but buy because it is recycled.

It's still a bit scratchy but in my experience all the recycled ones are. This product is as good as they go with great credentials. They do need to do more work to make these products softer though.

I like this toilet paper, but I am very disappointed that is is no longer available in the 9 pack, which made it economical to buy. Might have to rethink my choice.

I've been buying these rolls for a number of years and am very pleased with them. In terms of thickness etc obviously this is a matter of taste but I find these ideal. I agree with Edward, above, the 9-packs were great, good value, easy to store and less packaging, and the bags made excellent binliners.

Have been using this a while, well over a year now, and find it absolutely does the job. I don't find it too thin at all. I like the compostable packaging too. Shame that Ethical Consumer don't sell the 9-packs anymore, as they were better value.

There is a lot to like about this. The packaging is compostable, it is made in UK, it is recycled paper etc. But my partner didn't like it, found it too thin and not soft enough. Sadly, won't be buying it again.

Top marks for packaging being compostable. However,it can be a bit thin and the perforations aren't perfect always (which probably causes extra wastage) ... a few bad batches here and there im guessing-could be sorted out at manufacturing process.Having said that it's still good value for money whereas in other recycled products because the price can be high it tends to put people off.

Hurrah - loo paper which isn't that stupid quilted stuff. The quilted toilet paper blocks our drains because it doesn't disintegrate fast enough. The local shops now only stock the quilted type - a conspiracy to keep plumbers employed? :-) Thank you, Ethical Superstore, for still selling this actually fit-for-purpose loo roll.

Lovely and soft, being recycled is great, but that's about it. I don't think we will buy this again.

Being used to quilted paper it seems very thin but no worse than mainstream brands. The plus side is it has environmental credentials. I may buy again but will try some other brands first.

We always buy recycled tissue, usually from the supermarket with our regular grocery shop, but as I was placing an order I popped a pack on. It was perfectly adequate but I didn't find it as soft as the supermarket equivalent.
