Q: hello!
I have to measure the power in a small shop. The system is single phase but I do not know if the window of the sensor is big enough. Could you give me the diameter of the window. Thank you very much:
Ivan
A: The aperture is approx 12.5mm x 12.5mm. John

Q: We have two meters. One for day rate and one for night rate. Can I get away with two clips or do I need two receiving units?
A: Two clips is the way forward. Multi-tariff meters, charge for electricity at different tariffs at different times of the day.
Some economy 7 systems have 3 cables between the meter and the fuse box instead of the standard two cables (there may be 2 red cables and one black cable).
You will need one sensor clip for each red cable. The extra sensor clip needs to be clipped onto the extra red cable and the jack needs to be inserted into the socket numbered "2" on the transmitter.
