Q: I've read lots of great reviews but I was wondering what it means by contact free cutting system. could you tell me..many thanks
A: Contact-free means that the blades are not in contact with each other which results in less friction when mowing. For example, garden shears have a 'contact' cutting system, whereas a 'scythe' is 'non-contact'. I hope this helps. Marty
