I have been using this kettle for just over a month and have been very pleased with it. It heats up rapidly and switches off rapidly (rather than boiling for an extra 5 - 10 seconds extra as my old kettle did). It is cool to the touch - even when just boiled the lid feels cool so no worry about burning hands if needing to lift the lid immediately after boiling. The water level indicator is very clear - my old kettle had indicators but they weren't as clear as these. The spout poors reasonably well, though occasionally it dribbles if pouring fast. The selector button is not as indicated - I thought mine was faulty to begin with but there is an addendum in the instructions advising that the button does not illuminate as illustrated. It is in fact more of a lever which flicks from one side to another, depending on which temperature is desired - it works very well indeed. Also, there is no whistle. Overall very pleased.
