I went to the Science Museum with my son and bought this product for him in the shop. Just brilliant. Became his favourite toy and we could barely separate it from him. Wind-up makes it good for him, the planet and our pocket and the packaging is recyclable etc. All round a great toy.
Bought this to teach my wee one about vegetables, roots, earth, plants and our lovely planet. Was so easy and fun to set up together...I put the earth in, he put the seeds in & got how it works so is now very excited to see what happens next. Will post another review when things start to happen...but in the meantime this is a cool product for the planet! No complaints from me...
It's easy to be cynical about a product like this mug but having used it only once and watched the world slowly vanish including most of the places I love and know, I can't help but feel more motivated to do something about Climate Change. Like I said, it's easy to be cynical, but as Gandhi said: 'Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.' So, light the candle, then put the kettle on ;)
My son loves the movie 'Alvin & the Chipmunks' and so having the chance to be a 'Major Rockstar!' makes his day. Plus as a parent the fact this is a wind-up toy means he learns about renewable energy from an early age and we get to save money normally spent on batteries. The mike works really well and the whole thing is a total success. Oh and it comes in totally recyclable packagaing, even better!
Am a huge red wine fan and have to say this does the job on many levels. A nice price, beautiful bottle, the wine is a divine dusty red shade and provides a surprisingly fruity nose and taste. All good!
