This is a lovely smart little radio which sits on one windowsill in the morning and migrates to another as the sun comes round my house in the evening. I can sit outside on the lawn with it without worrying about batteries and I can leave it on as much as I like without worrying about being wastefull of energy.
It is the kind of radio that you don't really need an instruction manual for - it is uncomplicated, and does the job well.
Your only problem will be choosing the colour!!

We needed a new kettle, and I had wanted this one for ages, so I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas!! I get so mad when everyone comes to my house and fills the kettle to the brim for one cup. So now nobody can figure it out and I am very happy to explain how to dispense the right amount of water into the boiling section.
To be honest, it is a bit gimicky, in that you could fill a mug full of water, pour that into your kettle and turn it on....but this does make it easier because you do not have to keep filling the kettle up every time you use it for one cup.
I like that it encourages _everyone_ to put the right amount in.
I love it, and I no longer shout at my guests!
I did get my boyfriend something else for Christmas too! :)

I have been using my ecoballs for a while now, but only for every day washing. When it came to my every other day nappy wash, I used Ecover detergent, which worked great. Until I ran out. So, for the first time I put my load of soiled, dry pailed nappies in the wash with the Ecoballs.
They came out just as clean, fresh and stain free as always.
