Bought this kettle about 18 months ago and it has been nothing but hassle. Problems include: Steam coming out of the handle when picked up and burning hand, Water coming out of the lid when pouring, Hot water is rapidly cooled by the cold water in the inner vessel so having to boil kettle multiple times to get a hot cuppa, lid no longer fits properly as it couldn't withstand the pressure of the valve mechanism pressing up on it, final straw was when the valve mechanism on the lid broke stopping a full kettle of water from being boiled. Just resigned it to the bin and got the old kettle out of the cupboard. I think if you sensibly only boil the water required in a normal kettle you're just as well off and without the complications and EXPENSE of an eco-kettle. Ahh hot tea again at last.
