I've had two of these since March 2007 - the first stopped working completely after a few months and was replaced immediately by the company. I didn't have to return the old one which I thought was very trusting and when I asked what to do with it (being environmentally conscious!) I was told to throw it in the bin! The replacement lasted until July this year when the button you press down to fill the heating chamber stopped locking in place and as a result stopped filling unless you kept your finger pressing down on it. Okay for the cups of coffee, etc but useless when you needed both chambers filled and boiled - because it didn't click into place there was no guarantee that the cavities were properly 'merged' and both sides were being boiled. Great idea of a product, but let down by some aspects of quality. Probably won't buy a replacement and will try another brand with less bits that can break.
