Q: I've read elsewhere that, as opposed to the panels you can buy which can be fitted with the radiator in place, you have to take the radiator off to fit this type of foil - is this correct?

A: It would really depend on your radiator. This could be slid into place if space permits. However, if your radiator has an insufficient gap at the back of it then you may need to take it off the wall. Alternatively, you could cut the foil to fit in between the gaps of the radiator.
