Apricot kernels (they're a bit like hazelnuts), walnuts and sun dried apricots are grown in the mountains and the valleys of Northern Pakistan where the temperature in the summer reaches 40 degrees Celsius.
Produced in the pure highland environment of the Hunza Valley and the Karakorum Mountains, Hunza Mountain Mix apricots are organically grown at between 4,500 - 9,500 feet during long hot summer days. Nourished by glacial melt-water and then sustainably harvested, these growing conditions create fruit that has an extraordinarily beautiful taste and flavour.
The Hunza apricot is known the world over for its bright and tangy flavour, which is rich and full of complexity.
Hunza Mountain mix is the perfect mix for you when you want to climb your own mountains!
Ingredients: Apricots (50%), Walnuts (25%) and Apricot Kernels (25%).
Mountain Fruits Dried Apricots are Fairtrade (FLO) Certified.
Organically grown in Northern Pakistan by Mountain Fruits and then packaged and distributed at FM Food's BRC Grade A approved Soil Association certified factory in Sunderland, UK.
