This simple long necklace provides an easy-to-wear look, making a welcome gift for a friend. Handmade by Indian craftspeople with bamboo, mother of pearl, glass, wood and plastic bead strung on cotton cord. Made in India by Tara Projects.

Tara Projects is a non-profit organisation based in Delhi serving some 25 community-based groups of artisans from all regions in North India.

Tara's objective is to help craft workers to achieve self-sufficiency by providing income-generating opportunities and developing marketing skills. They have brought about major changes in these craft groups and their communities due to fair trade sales.
