This contemporary design features banana fibre woven onto a sturdy wooden frame. The feather-filled cushion complete the design. The rich colours of the weaving material are beautifully offset by the paler fabric of the cushion, making a pleasing addition to any living space.
The cushion fabrics are 100% cotton. You can choose from a handwoven textile (white) from Indonesia, or a heavier fabric sourced in the UK (celeriac green). Our aim longer-term is to source an organic/fair trade-certified cotton for the Indonesian fabrics.
Matching tables and chairs are available using the same meterials and construction as the footstool. The tabletop and shelves are made from mango and pule, both local softwoods.
