Teapigs
Teapigs was founded in 2006 by Nick and Louise who’ve always had a passion for tea, and for bringing the highest quality tea possible to customers. With experience working for a big tea company, they really know what they’re talking about when it comes to the classic beverage. Teapigs uses whole leaf tea from selected farms which is then packed into tea temples made from biodegradable cornstarch which is great for the environment, plus the packaging is made from FSC certified, recyclable cardboard. Teapigs is also working with tea estates in order to work towards their tea being certified by the Rainforest Alliance which works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods. The company also supports the communities that grow the tea, donating to various charities and schemes that help to improve the lives of tea growers and their families.
