About The Freeloader Portable Solar Charger

The FreeLoader is an advanced portable solar charger that can power most hand held devices. Contained in a tough and stylish aluminum body, the FreeLoader is a durable and portable solution for charging phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, sat navs, iPods, PDAs and PSPs. Can power a mobile phone for 44 hours, a PSP for 2.5 hours, and a PDA for 22 hours.

About The Supercharger

Supercharger is a super tough, super fast means to charge a Freeloader. Supercharger will fully power up a Freeloader in as little as 4 hours in sunshine, which means it is possible to charge Freeloader twice in one day!

By using an ultra efficient, compact, 1.5watt crystalline solar cell, Freeloader can be rapidly charged in all weather conditions.

Supercharger is a fully weather resistant unit supplied in a tough case with two innovative buckles and a Velcro attachment strap for secure fixing to a rucksack, travel bag, bike panniers etc. And weighing in at a featherweight 200grams, the extra weight will barely be noticed.

Supercharger easily couples to the Freeloader battery / hub using the original USB charge cable supplied with Freeloader.

Just plug in for instant performance.

This charger is great! I live in Canada and there haven't been many sunny days since I received this about 3 weeks ago but it has worked wonderfully. It takes a lot longer to charge without direct sunlight but it will still slowly charge. My only disappointment is that although there is a piece that connects to my Motorola Krzr cell phone, a message appears on my phone indicating it is unable to charge... but it works great with both my first generation iPod (yes, I still have one - not quite ready to donate to a museum yet) and my iPod nano.
Cheers and Happy New Year!

This solar charger really does work. Excellent on bright sunny days and pretty ok on darker days. The supercharger comes into its own then. I mostly use my to charge my apple iphone, but as apple iphones are greedy little energy users I wouldn't think i could rely on the freeloader to supply all my needs in the winter, but every little helps
