The UK uses enormous amounts of packaging in retail each year, and far too much of it gets thrown away – although government targets in 2008 are for 55% recycling, still nearly 5 million tonnes annually gets chucked in the bin. The brainy inventors at Remarkable have looked at these environmentally rubbish statistics and have decided to do their bit; reducing the scrap heaps to create funky and functional gadgets that we all need at school or in the office.
