This is the ultimate of DAB digital radios from Pure; it’s bursting with fantastic features and comes recommended from the Energy Savings Trust! Experience sound quality like never before, and tune into up to twice as many stations as FM!
The Tempus 1S includes natural sounds including lapping waves, forest rain and birdsong to aid sleep and relaxation! It also comes with four independent alarms, an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) which offers crystal clear readability and brightness control for optimum clarity.
As well as all this it comes in a classy real cherry veneer finish and has options to fade-up volume to aid waking up and fade-down volume to ease you to sleep!

Ethical Superstore staff reviewThe snooze handle works fantastically – the lightest of touch from the most disorientated hand will cut the noise (and you have a choice of three – tone, ‘natural sounds’ or the DAB station of your choice)
Programming the alarm couldn’t be easier and it offers a range of options – including 5 day week – so no need to alter the settings for weekend indulgence, and more importantly no chance of forgetting to set it / adjust it for work on Monday!
The radio itself delivers superb sound quality and automatically tuned in no fewer than 7 extra stations which my previous alarm obviously wasn’t sensitive enough to get a fix on. Navigating between stations and storing my favourites honestly couldn’t have been easier. Add to this the fact that the Tempus is Energy Saving Trust approved, it will cost me less to run too.
It’s hard to imagine a better way to wake up, a superb product. As a member of Ethical Superstore Staff I’ve insisted that it gets a ‘Staff Recommends’ rating too!
