I was a little uncertain when I first bought these, but when I used them I found them more comfortable than regular tampons and not as messy as I had anticipated. There is a bit of an issue in a public toilet, but I have compromised with using these when I am home all day, and standard disposalable tampons when I know I will be out. I would definately recommend them.
