Unsweetened and dairy free, this Soil Association Certified Organic cashew milk from Plenish is produced using only 3 simple ingredients; Cashews, Himalayan Salt & Filtered Water. A marvellous substitute for adding to your smoothies & cereals, in your morning coffee or on its own as a thirst-quenching beverage, it is a superb source of plant based protein and natural copper too. It is also low in saturated fats and high in heart-healthy monosaturated fats. Plenish drinks are also produced without additives or preservatives and are free from sugar. Use 250ml of this organic cashew drink per day as part of a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Plenish milks are produced organically and sustainably, resulting in 70% less air pollution and 80% less water pollution that the average dairy milk produced in the UK.

Love this alternative to dairy milk to make a creamy hot choc.

I actually tested out several different alternative milks, including an almond milk and a hazelnut milk (not from brands sold here so I won't name names), and Plenish Cashew Milk was the best of the lot. By far it tasted the most like cow's milk, and the nutty taste was very slight - with the hazelnut and almond milks the nutty flavour was stronger. It's great to cook with, on its own as a drink it's less good, especially as a hot chocolate, but still by far the best of the alternatives I tried. I would just say that it is a bit more watery than regular milk so if you are using it to cook a sauce for example you might want to adjust the amounts so you get the consistency you want.
