About Piccalilly

Piccalilly is a UK based company which believes strongly in the importance of fair trade. The majority of their products are made from organic SKAL certified organic cotton, carefully sourced from the Chetna Project in Indian states of Andhra, Pradesh and Maharashtra. This project involves over 1,500 farming families, providing a steady demand for their cotton and a regular income. Piccalilly’s organic cotton clothing is coloured using low impact dyes too, working hard at every stage to eliminate all chemicals, which greatly lessens environmental impact. Their organic clothes are certified with the Fairtrade Label too, giving independent assurance that their famers are getting a better deal.

Piccalilly also supports a number of suppliers who work with materials other than organic cotton, based in Bali, Indonesia. Through working with these producers they are encouraging employment in economically unstable areas, always ensuring that trade is developed fairly and constructively.
