This wonderful heart shaped paper holder contains 100 individual heart shaped sheets of multi-coloured paper, and is made from 75% elephant dung and 25% recycled paper. Created in Sri Lanka by Eco-Maximus (with the help of a few elephants, of course!)
The aim of Eco-Maximus is to educate the local communities on the plight of the Sri Lankan elephant, and the company were the winners of the 2006 BBC World Challenge, which aims to reward projects which make a difference to local communities, with particular attention given to green initiatives.
