This Zen basket is made from Bakbak bark, which is derived from the abaca plant. It was originally thought to be a waste product, until its properties for basket weaving were recognized. The bark is a rich, dark brown, and it naturally falls off the abaca plant as new bark grows underneath it.

This basket is woven into a square style, with a slightly curved semi-rigid rim, and is faced inside and out.

Dimensions : 5cm tall x 20 x 20cm
