Capture the colours and textures of nature with this natural and richly-hued Fairtrade floor runner; dusky greys and burnished oranges with a contrasting vibrant yellow stripe. It is handwoven by a textile specialist in India using chunky wool and cotton to create a gorgeous textural and snug effect, with delicate tassels. They use traditional techniques include hand-weaving, hand embroidery, kantha work, sequins, cutwork, tie dye, block and screen printing, whilst materials used to make products are mainly recycled, including sweet wrappers, denim and saris. Employees receive ES insurance to get free medical treatment for the entire family, provident fund for pensions and interest free loans for various health problems or marriage. They support SOS Children Village India, Save the Children and Oxfam as their favoured charities. They have an excellent team of young people who are energetic and committed to a new vision.
