Had mine for a month or so and really pleased. Heats as little as a mugful and with the eco (85C) setting does so in around 40 seconds. Choosing eco or normal boil is easy (not as shown in the image but using a simple left-down or right-down lever to turn the kettle on). Apart from coffee and herbal tea, I've found another great use for the lower setting: hot-water bottles (into which you should never pour boiling water).
Looks and feels great: simple stylish colours and light to carry. The pointed spout is a small but noticeable improvement on my last kettle, but the pièce de résistance: the water reservoir glows blue when heating - probably quite practical for the hard of hearing, but pleasant to look at regardless.

Verified product owner This kettle is so good we even bought one for my sister in Switzerland! It's so much quicker - it's easy to understand how it saves electricity. And it's stylish to boot, we've had several flattering comments from friends.

Q: Does this kettle have the whistle when boiled.
A: This kettle has a handy on/off whistle function, great if you like to hear when your water has boiled, and even better to be able to turn it off if you don't! The water reservoir also glows blue when heating, to give extra indication of when the kettle is in use. Jo.
