Deter slugs from eating your precious greens AND fertilise your garden all in one with these wool pellets.
When sheep get shaved to produce fleeces for the textile industry some of the fleece is too dirty or knotted to be used for clothing. This waste wool is taken and put into an extruding machine, where it is forced through small cavities to produce pellets of wool. These pellets can then be sprinkled around your plants and the woollen fibres on the surface make it uncomfortable for the slugs’ foot to travel across, physically deterring the slugs rather than killing them. Each slug can then go elsewhere to feed.
These wool pellets gradually biodegrade, fertilising your plants as they contain naturally occurring nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium, and provide an effective mulch and compost. No chemicals are added, making the pellets 100% natural and environmentally responsible.
