Toscar Blanco Airen (Spain) - refreshing, medium dry white, with floral and citrus notes, great on its own or with salads, white fish.
Touchstone Pinot Grigio (Italy) - Pear and nectarine fruits with a creamy finish on this much-loved wine.
Jean Bousquet Chardonnay (Tupungato, Argentina) - The vineyards sit some 4000ft above sea level and here the grapes develop a really brilliant clarity of flavour; apples and pears with hints of spice in the finished wine. A lovely wine for Thai inspired dishes and salads.
Novas Viognier (Chile) - Fresh peach and apricot fruits abound in this luscious, opulent wine that has a pleasingly rich texture but not at the loss of freshness. A good chance to try something a little outside of the mainstream.
Albet I Noya Chardonnay/ Xarel.lo (Penedes, Spain) - It's zippier than a straight Chardonnay by the addition of local citrus-tinged Xarello grapes. Unoaked, this is a super wine for salads and lightly-flavoured foods.
Chateau Jaubertie Cuvee Natura Semillon/ sauvignon (Bergerac, France) - Delicate lime and lemon flavoured white made not far from Bordeaux. It's made free from oak and is very much a refreshing, everyday white wine.
This selection of wines are suitable for vegans.
