Producer Note:
Ormer Bay wines are produced in Citrusdal, gateway to the Cederberg Mountain Range and up-and-coming wine region of the Western Cape. Here, due to the high altitude and cool mountain breezes, grapes reach optimum physiological ripeness. Hand harvesting and judicious use of modern vinification techniques ensures the resultant wines are packed with fruit and thoroughly modern in style. Wine certified Fairtrade.
Tasting Note:
Lively and vibrant on a nose dominated by ripe plum and cherry. This theme is continued on the surprisingly rich palate that manages to balance ripe black fruits with silky smooth tannins.
