Producer Note:
Ormer Bay wines are produced in Citrusdal, gateway to the Cederberg Mountain Range and up-and-coming wine region of the Western Cape. Here, due to the high altitude and cool mountain breezes, grapes reach optimum physiological ripeness. Hand harvesting and judicious use of modern vinification techniques ensures the resultant wines are packed with fruit and thoroughly modern in style. Wine certified Fairtrade.
Tasting Note:
The nose of cherries, cloves and nutmeg is complemented by ripe raspberry and plum. The palate is well-balanced with the black fruits of the Cabernet balanced by the bitter dark chocolate of the Pinotage.
