Notes on the Wine Selection
Thandi Merlot Cabernet 2005 - This claissic blend has pleasant cassis and red berry flavours, a concentrated palate and a balanced, rounded finish.
Los Robles Carmenere 2005 - This elegant fruity wine has an intense plumy colour, while on the palate has hints of berries, chocolate, caramel, and pepper.
Ormer Bay Cabernet Pinotage 2004 - The nose of cherries, cloves and nutmeg is complemented by ripe raspberry and plum. The palate is well-balanced with the black fruits of the Cabernet balanced by the bitter dark chocolate of the Pinotage.
Ormer Bay Merlot 2006 - Lively and vibrant on a nose dominated by ripe plum and cherry. This theme is continued on the surprisingly rich palate that manages to balance ripe black fruits with silky smooth tannins.

Question asked on 8th Nov 2007
Q: Are you able to tell me whether these wines are vegetarian.
Thanks
A: All the wines featured in this case are suitable for vegans as they are fined with bentonite which is a natural mineral also known as ‘diatomaceous earth’.
This is standard practice with all organic wineries and has been widely adopted by Fairtrade producers as well.
