Ethical Starter Case

An ideal introduction to a selection of ethical wines. Two bottles each of six different wines, half red and half white.

The reds start with a Syrah/Grenache blend from Chateau de Combebelle, the highest estate in St Chinian in the south of France (organic and biodynamic). Next we go further south into Spain's Ribera del Duero with the soft and luscious Vina Eremos made from Tempranillo (organic). The
last red is from Argentina where the Malbec grape makes rich, spicy, full-bodied reds with soft tannins (Fairtrade).

For the whites, we start off in France with Moulin de Gassac Guilhem, a crunchy Sauvignon blend made by the famous Mas de Daumas Gassac estate from non-certified organically-grown grapes. Then we jump to South Africa to a superb, peachy Chenin Blanc made by Mzokhona Mvemve (Black Economic Empowerment project). Last but not least an elegant, unoaked Chardonnay
from the Cefalicchio estate in Puglia, the heel of Italy (organic and biodynamic).
