Ripe and fruity, simple red for everyday quaffing.
Tasting Notes:
Good value red for everyday drinking - like a riper version of Beaujolais with soft cherry fruit and low tannins. This is made from a little-known grape variety called Mission (also known as Pais) which was introduced to Chile by the Spanish during the period of the Conquistadoras. It is the oldest grape variety planted in the area and has become well adapted to the regional climate and, according to the Equality website, is organically grown in order to maintain its inherent qualities.
