The Build-a-Ball Light Duty Vegetable Cage Kit comes supplied with all you need to make your own plant support or vegetable protection cage. It's a quick and easy way to build your own cage, made from green, weather resistant polymers for maximum durability.
Garden Cage Kits follow a sturdy and lightweight design, comprising of green aluminium tubing, build-a-ball connectors, 20mm mesh green netting (28gm/m2), spiked feet and ground pegs. They can be easily erected (and dismantled) anywhere in the garden as a temporary or permanent structure, season after season.
The 20mm netting (supplied, green PE, 28gm/m2) can be replaced by a finer net, a mesh, a fleece or a polythene cover (not supplied) for a successful growing environment and suitable protection throughout the whole season. These cages can also be used in conjunction with raised beds to give you total flexibility. This kit is best for vegetables as it has lower height.
