Six individually wrapped, handmade seedbombs each containing over 400 hand-harvested wild flower seeds and Espresso Mushroom compost. Espresso Mushroom compost is made from used coffee grounds, rounded up by bike from Brighton’s finest coffee shops.
The seeds are a mix of chamomile, yarrow, cornflower, fever few and red clover which will burst from the seedbomb when the time is right. With four simple steps you’ll be enjoying the sweet scents, bright flowers and fragrant flavours of these wild beauties which double up as tea infusions.
- Drop your seedbomb – in a flower bed, window box or pot. From Spring to Autumn is best
- Let the bomb do its thing – the bomb will retain moisture and draw nutrients from its own compost to germinate and grow
- Keep them watered and thin seedlings out if they look crowded
- Harvest – you can enjoy the splash of colour and scent that the flowers add to your home and garden or prepare them as tea infusions instead. Flowers, leaves or both together can be used to make a brew
