Q: Are the balls noisy as they tumble around the machine?
A: No - they are fairly soft in terms of their surface texture, and in use they tend to work their way into the heart of the load so are well muffled. They are certainly no where near as loud as the annoying metal zip pull on my favourite hoodie... John.

A: Between 2 and 5 years depending on usage.

Q: Does anybody else get a lot of static in the laundry when using these balls? If so is there a way around it?
A: According to the manufacturers one of the key benefits of using Dryer Balls is that they should actually reduce static, no one in the office has any experience of a static problem - but we'll put the question on our Facebook friends to see if any of them has any experience / advice.
