About Budels

Budels is an independent and self-reliant family brewery based in the centre of Budel, Holland. The brewery was established in 1870 and called Brouwerjj “De Hoop”, meaning “The Hope” Brewery. They hoped that their venture would be successful, and as they are still producing fine, organic, lager beers today, we think it has been. The symbol of “Hope” is the anchor, a sign which is still visible on the modern day logo.
