Q: Can I plug a three pin socket into it to charge a battery up for my electric bike
A: Sorry there is no 3-pin adapter for the Hybrid. The power it produces would take several weeks to charge something as large as an electric bike battery. Andy

Q: It says that this is incompatible with new ipods, but ok with all the old ones. Which ones are you calling old and new?
A: We classify 'new' iPods as the Classic 80gb and 160gb, iPod Touch, iPhone, and the new, 'fatter' iPod Nano. Many of the solar chargers have now been adapted to accommodate the new designs, and we are currently testing the range to determine compatibility. We shall update this page once testing has been completed.

Q: I have a cool box which can be powered by the cigarette lighter in my car, is there a solar charger that will charge it when my car is not running.
A: It rather depends on the charge requirements of the cool box. This product is capable of an output 1.5 to 5 watts. John.
