Q: can bambo nature nappies be composted as my local council will not take them with other biodegradable waste eg.cardboard and food waste. I have been very ill since the birth of my son 21/2 years ago and need to cut corners, hence not having the extra washing, however a s he stiil requires a nappy at night i'd prefer a disposable one but still with an ethical conscience.
A: As the nappies are biodegradable, you can add them to your regular household waste with a clear conscience. You may also be interested in a line of degradable nappy sacks that we stock: http://www.ethicalsuperstore.com/products/naturebotts/naturebotts-degradable-nappy-sacks/
We would not recommend adding them to your compost bin.
Hope this helps, Thomas.
