This coconut oil is free from bleaching agents & has not been deodorised or fractionated. 100% natural & cold pressed with a pure white colour &a wonderful coconut aroma.
As a moisturiser it absorbs easily into the skin & keeps it soft, but not greasy. Virgin Coconut Oil is actually more of a coconut 'cream' & at normal room temperature it is a semi solid butter. Coconut Oil is softer than shea butter & melts quicker on the skin. If you kept it in a very warm place (like on a sunny windowsill) it will eventually melt into a light golden oil.
Coconut oil can be used as a moisturiser, a hair conditioner & for cooking.
Coconut Oil helps to reduce chronic skin inflammation & is soothing and healing to wounds, blood blisters & rashes. Coconut oil also aids in the removal of the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother. The small molecular structure of coconut oil allows for easy absorption through the skin, giving it a soft, smooth texture. While doing this the coconut oil penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin and strengthen the underlying tissues.

Verified product ownerI massage the oil in my scalp and leave it there for around 30 mins before I wash my hair, as is suggested and it works quite well. I have also found out that it is a great moisturizer for my lips. I apply some to my lips and let them soak it all up. Better than most lip balms I have tried and it really is not greasy at all.
Since I live in a hot country, the creamy texture soon melted into an oil after I received it. I made the mistake of applying too much when I first got it and it took ages for my skin to absorb it. The key here is to use very little. A little definitely goes a long way with this product. That's another advantage of this product - it seems as though my bottle will last me for a very long time and i believe, it is very reasonably priced. As for the smell, it has a very mild coconut smell. Definitely different from the store-bought, heavy scented lotions.
In all, not only did the product do exactly what its descriptions said it would do but it totally exceeded my expectations. This is the first product I have used which is 100% natural but I'm definitely convinced I need to try others.
