Say hello to the Owl Wireless Electricity Monitor’s little friend!
OWL Micro is a wireless electricity monitor which shows you how much electricity you are using at any time and how much it is costing. It can help you to save money off your electricity bill by providing up to the second information on the amount of electricity you are using in pounds and pence so that you can see the financial gain of turning off electrical devices at home.
Whether it’s turning off at the plug rather than just using standby or simply turning off a light, the OWL Micro shows you how changing your behaviour can save you money and so help the environment. It is easy to install, easy to read and easy to use.
Requires 2 x AAA batteries

Q: How do these work? How do they know how nuch energy is being used in the home?
A: Hi, the Owl Micro comes with a sensor which is fitted around the insulated live cable and attached to a transmitter, which then sends information to the wireless display monitor (as pictured in the image above). The Owl Micro uses transformer sensing technology to monitor a tiny magnetic field around the electricity cable and measures how many amps are used, then calculates the power used and then can display information on the cost. The display unit can update the readings every 6 seconds.
I hope this helps. Robyn.

Q: HOw does this product differ from the OWL CM119?
A: Hi, the main difference (apart from the size, the Micro is significantly smaller) is that the Owl Micro is only suitable for single phase electricity supplies, so it's fine for single use, but not for the workplace. It also does not have a cumulative memory feature, like the Owl CM119 does. I hope this helps. Robyn.
