Just replaced mine after nearly a decade of use before it fell apart. Lasts well beyond guarantee length suggested. I've never had to use any other limescale remover etc l. This does the job fine.

Q: Roughly how often should the magno balls be used and how long do they last?
A: The magno ball should be used as part of a normal cycle and can last up to 10 years (the product is gauranteed for 5 years!) Marty.

Q: I have a washer dryer (as opposed to a washing machine only) is it safe to use the magnoball and can I leave the ball in the machine when it's in the drying mode? thanks
A: The magno ball should be fine for use during the washing cycle but should NOT be used during tumble drying. John.
