Ethicalsuperstore.com invited eight business students from the school to visit its Ouseburn headquarters and to take part in company activities in order to gain a better understanding of the live business environment.
The girls toured the premises looking at a selection of the ethical, fair-trade and eco friendly products that the company sells on its website. The girls were also shown how the internet based company works behind the scenes, from taking orders, processing and dispatching, to looking at customer buying trends.

The girls, who were both GSCE and A-level business students, were given their unique insight into ethicalsuperstore.com by Claire Malone, PR, Events & Partnership Manager. Claire discussed how the number of products has risen to over 3,500 in two years and also told the girls about the strict measures that are in place when sourcing new products to make sure they are fair-trade, eco friendly or ethical.
