Lights Out London


Posted on 1st June 2007On Thursday 21st June the whole of London has been invited to turn off all lights between 9pm – 10pm to highlight Green Issues to Londoners. Previous experiments have taken place in Sydney, Paris and Hong Kong designed to raise awareness of electricity use. It is said that if all 3million households in London switched unnecessary lights off for an hour it will save 380 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
