Ethical Superstore donates to cyclone victims


Posted on 6th June 2008For every £10 spent on Fairtrade products over a 4 day period in May, the company pledged to donate £1 to the Disasters Emergency Committee Myanmar (Burma) Cyclone Appeal; this came to a grand total of £1000.

 

Andy Redfern, co-founder of Ethical Superstore said: "We felt this was a perfect opportunity to lead by example and by donating £1 for every £10 spent on Fairtrade products from Ethical Superstore felt this was a good way of doing just that. We are committed to offering high quality products that make a positive impact to people and the planet. By selling products from Fairtrade producers, we can help people rebuild their lives, create sustainable livelihoods and work their way out of poverty.”
