Posted on 24th June 2009Ethical Skincare and Sustainable Beauty with Fairtrade Label first from Bubble & Balm

Whether it’s a guilty secret or one of your greatest pleasures, everyone loves to pamper themselves every now and again. With so many different beauty and skincare products on the market it’s often hard to know which was to turn, but with the launch of Bubble & Balm, here is one brand which is sure to tick all of the boxes.

Ethical beauty products and consumer savvy skincare is big business, and campaigns for cruelty-free products have been hitting the headlines since the 1980s. However, despite much ethical support, the UK cosmetic market was yet to be awarded the Fairtrade Mark. Up until now.

Officially launched by the Fairtrade Foundation on the 24th June, Bubble & Balm brings us one of the very first ranges of entirely Fairtrade Labelled beauty and skincare products in the UK. Here at EthicalSuperstore, we’re very proud to be one of the only stores in the country able to bring this wonderful and naturally nourishing range to you.

With a wide range of products containing either Fairtrade Shea Butter sourced from a producer co-operative in Burkino Faso, or Fairtrade Cocoa Butter from a small-scale farmer co-operative in the Dominican Republic, Bubble & Balm really do believe in supporting their producers whilst giving the consumer the best of both worlds – these are fantastic products backed by excellent ethics.

The Bubble & Balm range of skincare and bath-time treats is created using natural, plant-based ingredients – they’re vegan-friendly, and totally free from parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, phalates and other nasties too.
